Price was good but you get what you pay for.1000 feet of food .terrible main dining room food was inedible. The reason I gave 2 stars and not one the cabin crew was excellent clean room .institutional food at it worst burgers horrendous main dining the worst pizza was raw. Could not even get a omelet for breakfast being raw the only food was watermelon Entertainment was good comedy was best ship was clean.my wife got food poison and confined on cabin for 2 days. complained in er and wanted to quarantine her for rest of trip.a joke .this ship needs a complete training on cooking and hire a new chef and sraff. Carnival ship is the most un fun ship at sea. If not for the cleaning staff this ship is a waste. Avoid it at any cost. For a first time cruise was a disaster . Took all desire to ship again Read Less

We chose the short (4 night) cruise as we wanted to depart from Tampa. Last year we did the same itinerary out of New Orleans on the Triumph. We liked the triumph better - but didn’t care for cruising down the a Mississippi. The balcony cabin was small. We knew that a head time. Plenty of storage. But we did not need the Pullman bunk directly overhead of the twin beds. It seems poorly placed. I hit my head on it at least once. The steward inquired if we wanted nightly cabin service. Never been asked that before. We did decline as he was very busy- lots of families with small children. The serenity deck is nice - but as others noted - there is not a lot of shade. Food was okay. Breakfast in the dining room was very good. Always lines at the bars. Elite champagne snorkel tour in Cozumel was excellent. Booked through carnival. We did not think the various restrooms were cleaned frequently enough. Overall - it seemed they were short staffed. Fitness area was well maintained. Embarkation was a breeze. We arrived at our scheduled time and were on the ship in about 20 minutes. Read Less

Carnival Paradise has a mixture of pros and cons that make this an ok cruise; with all the ships at sea, I wouldn’t choose this ship again. First I’ll start with the cons: Shows felt more like a talent show. Average talent, horrible seating, bad sound system. Food in the dining room was terrible. I ate most of my meals at the Pizza Pirate it Guys Burgers which is terribly unhealthy. Motion Sickness was bad; never felt a ship that rocky Now the pros: Excellent size room! I had a porthole room (R17) and never felt crowded. I utilized the ledge on the porthole shelf for most of my belongings and put the suitcase under the bed. Drinks were really good Staff was the friendliest Leon, our cruise director, was also the best Excellent embarkation process and getting on and off the ship; never waited in a line other than disembarkation Read Less
