We loved Atlantis and enjoyed our day at the waterpark! Would recommend booking the excursion through Norwegian even though it is more expensive because they include a shuttle to and from the port.

It would have been perfect for adults or older children. It was too expensive for 2 adults with 2 little children.

Our day in the water park came with lunch a real value. We also made our own way over to the water park so we got there early and were some of the first guests to ride the slides. Which we could have stayed longer.

LOVE going to Atlantis Aquaventure! The only negative was the chaotic line to get your day pass wristbands... the pre-paid line should move much faster than it did, but many folks are in the wrong line and/or not very prepared. Luckily, we got there very early, so did make it through the line prior to the 10am actual opening. The rapid river tube ride is a family favorite, and we spent most of our day on it and the connected tube slides at the Power Tower. Would have been nice to have had a couple more hours in port to enjoy a bit more. Read Less

We were bused to Atlantis where the guide walked us through the shops/casino to the beach, then we were on our own. The buses come every 1/2 hour so we could decide when we wanted to return. The lounges and towels were complimentary. It is a nice beach and turquoise water. Afterward we went to the casino, aquariums and just looked around. We had never been to Atlantis and I was expecting something a bit more spectacular than the reality. Still it was worth seeing it. It appears dated - the aquarium glass looks cloudy - I don't think it is the water, I think the glass needs some work. Read Less

Walked around Nassau on our own and then took a cab ride to Atlantis to check it out. The cab ride was interesting to put it mildly. Atlantis is a spectacular place. The marina and the yachts were worth the trip alone. We did the aquarium tour and enjoyed it immensely. Nassau is a little rough around the edges and it can be a bit intimidating because folks are trying to sell you something from the minute you step off the pier to the minute you step back on - some are more friendly than others in their sales pitches. I would go back again no question and don't mean to imply that the tourist area ever felt unsafe, but you want to be careful and use some judgement. Read Less

Weather was a bit on the cool side and Atlantis seemed very uncrowded (we expected it to be packed on Dec 23rd). Had an issue at check-in where IDs for persons on the reservation were required. This was nowhere on the paperwork. It actually stated that the credit card of the person on the reservation was required. I had made both reservations and had my credit card and ID, but had put my daughter's name on the second reservation and she had left her ID on the ship. I had a photo of her ID on my phone, so they accepted that. The aquarium is pretty cool but can be seen in a relatively short time. Definitely not worth the cost of admittance. Read Less

Our adult children liked the slides and had no crowds. Absolutely not worth the price of admission though. Even at half the price this would be expensive, but would then be a very good or excellent rating.

Too expensive.....Long lines (even though they tell you it's capacity controlled) so as to avoid having any lines for their guests we did not find this to be true at all. Long lines to stand in just to get our pre-paid passes, long lines to get on boats to get to the island and long lines for each water slide. An overcrowded resort in my opinion and at $199.00/head you can't get your moneys worth if you wanted to. The company running the shore excursion was very disorganized. You arrive at Atlantis around 8:45 am. The pools do not open until 9am and the water slides do not open until 10am. So be aware of this if you have kids. There were no drinks or food in the pool/beach areas until 11am. You could get something in the main (Royal) hotel but thats sit down and you may not want to do this in a bathing suite. The grounds are nice...its fun to go on some of the slides but thats really about it. It was very expensive $160.00 pp thru Celebrity.
